She has made at least one indie music lover reconsider his antipathy for her music. She may be partially responsible for Obama's recent electoral successes. She is an international force for good. (For certain values of the word "good"). What else can you say? Céline Dion is amazing!. (That last YouTube link has a bit of NSFW language. I can't tell you whether or not Céline herself is NSF anything around you. Your call.)

What's more fun than a Tiger Woods/Britney Spears duet at a charity event? Canuck radio DJs impersonating Celine Dion to invite the pop 'star' to sing at the bogus gala, that's what! Oh, but it gets even better. The song the diva was to sing? 'Let's Make a Hole in One". Maybe they should have called Courtney, too.

Columbia Records to release benefit cd "God Bless America" The compilation will include Celine Dion's rendition of the title track which was recorded specially for this release.
The label says "a substantial portion" of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Twin Towers Fund..
Uh, "substantial portion" AND another Celine version of GBA? This cd sucks already. The catalog sales must be slow over at Columbia.
