No Darwin, No Hitler

Darwin's Deadly Legacy illustrates how Charles Darwin caused the Holocaust. This documentary, from the late Dr. James Kennedy and his Coral Ridge Ministries, features not only rare, Bigfoot-esque glimpses of the notoriously camera-shy Ann Coulter, but also Francis Collins, the head of the Human Genome Project. Of course, Dr. Collins hates everything about the documentary and claims that his footage was simply spliced in under false pretenses, and even Michael Behe distances himself from the entire production, disagreeing as he does with its central tenets. Oh, and the ADL is pissed, but when aren't they? Anyway, not even arch-conservative websites with "We Need Alan Keyes For President" interstitial ads think the documentary is worth very much. And it seems that Hitler himself had a grand old time pimping out Christianity and denying that we came from apes. (More, more.) So watch the fucking trailer and learn yourself some history.

Dirty Sanchez: The Truth About A Conservative Gay Porn Star and Prostitute

Cpl. Matt Sanchez is the BFF of Ann Coulter and gay porn consumers. "Former journalist" Charles Wilson has launched an exhaustive site all about him and his alter ego, Rod Majors. Check out his biography, a filmography, an "evidence locker," a discussion forum, articles, forums posts, and transcripts of radio interviews. This is the most comprehsenive site about this dude the world will ever need.

Fair and Balanced

Coulterfilter: She calls John Edwards a "faggot" speaking at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was thrilled to be speaking before her ("Oh yeah!"), and during her talk she went on to endorse him. At least one conservative blogger isn't pleased with Coulter's act, while a prominent liberal blogger sees this as yet another example of "IOKIYAR" behavior. Gay Republican writer Andrew Sullivan also weighs in: "When you see her in such a context, you realize that she truly represents the heart and soul of contemporary conservative activism, especially among the young."

Adam Carolla hangs up on Ann Coulter

"Listen bitch, don't call in an hour & a half late and then complain you're tight on time." My favorite 80 seconds of radio so far this year, as Ann Coulter dials into the Adam Carolla show to plug her stupid book. (link goes to transcript, with MP3 available for download)

Letter To A Nut

LET'S DO THIS. Burning the midnight oil typing out a letter best left unsent—who hasn't done that, right? Only, I think Henry Rollins might be the type to go ahead and send this letter anyway. (.swf)

Russert: I’m afraid we’re out of time. Satan, I’ll give you the last word.

Meet The Press--in Hell with Jesus, Satan, Coulter, Malkin--... Russert: We’re back with our guests, Bob Satan and Jesus Christ, and our panel Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter. Ann, I’d like to read you a statement by the Virgin Mary, Chairwoman of Mothers Against Armageddon—
Ann Coulter: Oh please. This broad is a millionaire, lionized on frescoes and in scripture about her, reveling in her status as a saint, and stalked by Madonna-parazzies. I have never seen a woman enjoying her son’s death so much. ...

Hijacking Conservatism

What unites hardliners like Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh -- their uncompromisingly conservative take on politics? In a provocative blog post titled Do Bush followers have a political ideology?, Glenn Greenwald persuasively argues otherwise. He believes that the conservative movement -- traditionally against big government, excessive spending, and federal intrusion into the private lives of Americans -- has been hijacked by something much more dangerous: an authoritarian cult of personality, or as Greenwald puts it, "a form of highly emotional mass theater masquerading as political debate."

Conservatives gobble her up

Taking a leaf out of Ann Coulter's book. Jillian Brandes, a writer for the UNC-Chapel Hill student paper "The Daily Tar Hill" wrote an opinion column that included the sentence, I want all Arabs to be stripped naked and cavity-searched if they get within 100 yards of an airport. She was then fired from the paper. But don't worry about her future. "Within a day, she was being interviewed by radio stations throughout the country. Her case was gobbled up by the conservative media and featured on a major professional journalism Web site Thursday."

I guess this is what passes for an answer.

"And what do I have to say in rebuttal? Not a g-----n thing." Ajai Raj, the UT-Austin student arrested for saying a naughty word to Ann Coulter, offers his "Open Letter to Anyone Who Gives a Sh*t About Justice." As unabashed and blunt as- well- Ann Coulter, but still admirably less juvenile than other recent commentaries.

Civic minded dissent?

When this passes for dissent, perhaps we see valid reasons for screening people at public lectures who want to attend for no other reason than to disrupt. People typically attend lectures to hear out and consider the ideas of the designated speaker, not to see attempted assault or to have a riot incited.

Culture Clash: American Right meets British Left

The UK Guardian Meets Ann Coulter. Many people outside the US have yet to come to terms with the reality of the recent shift towards the right in the domestic American political landscape. Here, Johnathan Freedland of the genteel, centre-left Guardian interviews right-wing babe Ann Coulter. This article draws out some fairly representative American Right and British opinions on politics, war, sex and race -- and shows some stark differences, even outright hostility, between the two predominant political positions from these closely allied nations. Worth reading just to picture Freedland looking horrified when Coulter calls him a commie.

Why Would Celibacy Cause Pedophilia?

Why Would Celibacy Cause Pedophilia? I been puzzled by the folks who are blaming the celibacy rule in the Catholic church for the pedophilic priests. Maybe I'm missing something, but the argument sounds counter intuitive to me.

Ur-Editorial about the attacks,

Ur-Editorial about the attacks, (from adequacy.org- I'm not familiar with them- linked via a plastic.com comment). Shades of the Metafilter self-parody; I found it a handy template for every editorial opportunist from Michael Moore to Ann Coulter- perhaps we can just reference this instead of linking yet more lame, shameful editorials from all parts of the political spectrum?
