Recovering nicely, the American Bald Eagle was delisted (pdf) as an endangered species this summer by the Department of the Interior. Only a handful of species have fought their way back from the endangered species list. Credit the ban on DDT for the bald eagle's remarkable resurgence.

West Nile Virus got you down?
Then jump on the Bring Back DDT bandwagon, because it's time to kill something to stop the evil WNV!
Heck, DDT doesn't harm the enviroment or people, it doesn't!
Question to ponder: DDT, good thing to use in the US?, bad thing to use? or "Just like hunting for deer with a bazooka"?

Silent Evidence - Ronald Bailey insists that Rachel Carson's campaign against DDT in "Silent Spring" is filled with bad science and has resulted in millions of unnecessary deaths due to increased malaria rates. The US Government has also considered removing the ban on DDT, as has Roger Bate in the Wall Street Journal.

Three This is the average number of children who are dying from malaria in Africa EVERY
MINUTE. Time was when it could be justly claimed that DDT had saved 500 million lives, but then along came Rachel Carson with her
mendacious jeremiad, Silent Spring. Her anti DDT campaign was taken up by the murderous EPA and vociferously supported by
environmental SIFs, such as Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. Human life is an irritating side-issue to such fanatics
