This meal wasn’t so much a lunch as an act of vengeance. The brave -- or perhaps just lazy -- souls at HeatEatReview sacrifice their tastebuds and stomachs so that cubicle dwellers like me can eat only the finest processed foods at our desks every day. Actually not like me, I'm having another damn salad.

Frozen Dead Guy Days. Thousands of waving spectators line the streets of Nederland, Colo. (pop. 1,394), as a parade filled with skeletons, helmeted Vikings, pompadoured Elvises and antique hearses makes its way down First Street to mark the beginning of Frozen Dead Guy Days—a celebration that’s part Mardi Gras, part county fair, and all tongue-in-cheek. The 2008 celebration will be held March 7-9.

Aerogel Update Originally posted back in '02 by adrianhon this crazy new material looks to be on the verge of mass production.
Currently used in homes for insulation & for winter clothes that are too warm to wear, this is a truly amazing technology.
Want to know how to make it?
Want to buy some?
Here is a pic to help you believe it's real. More here.
Aspen Aerogel is currently in production.

Frozen Indigo Angel Video producer Paul Denchfield recently noticed the words 'Frozen Indigo Angel' appearing on some work he'd produced for the BBC's Radio One website. Wanting to know what it was about, he contacted the corporation but they were evasive about it and not long afterwards he was told his services were no longer required. Not wanting to take it lying down, he's started blogging about the phenomena, which is virally spreading across the BBC's digital content, even popping up in the information window of DAB radios, trying to get to the bottom of this thing which has apparently cost him his job. Simple marketing or something more sinister?

Miracle baby crawls out of her house in the middle of the night into the snow in Canada, and when she's found her body temp is 60°F. Looks like she'll be fine.

Frozen
body falls from plane en route from Moscow
Pretty sad story when you think about it, that someone could be so desperate to
get to a better world that they would attempt something so dangerous.
