Thinking Around the Corners , a new but very different creative magazine, launched this morning. The purpose of TAtC to to inspire designers, painters, etc. from the examples of other creatives like writers and poets -- following
Duchamp's thought, "I felt that as a painter I was much better off to be influenced by a writer than by another painter."
This issue features an interview with Jeffrey Zeldman on what inspires him and how he gets through the creative process.

Zeldman's thoughtful writing is always touching in some way. This article and the previous one are especially so.

Thus sayeth Zeldman: "Lately, well-meaning readers have informed us that the status bar is sacred, and JavaScript text messages are evil ... even when they include the domain name."
I, personally, prefer a brief description of where the link is going, rather than a long URL. Just curious, what do you think? As far as I'm concerned, there is no wrong answer or opinion on this.
