Movie Poop Shoot
started its web life last year as an in-joke
(warning: work-unsafe imagery) for Kevin Smith
's film Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, but it recently underwent a rather major overhaul. Now it's an all-encompassing pop-culture news and opinions site, focusing mostly on movies, but also touching on TV, video, music, comics and toys. The contributors who write the many weekly columns are knowledgeable and entertaining, and the site feels sort of like Ain't It Cool News
minus the atrocious design and grade-school level writing. Add to that some of the funniest headlines
I've seen in a while and The Porn Star Quote Of The Week and you've got a new daily visit for this geek.

Everyone's favorite foul-mouthed, philosophical shopclerks are back.
For those of you who missed it's premiere on the Tonight Show
a coupla days ago, the inimitable Kevin Smith has new short up on his site(Quicktime and RealMedia). Dante and Randal are back talking all about mad German Scientists, The Jetsons
and the decline of American ingenuity. Terrific, as always, Kev.

Just saw Dogma
and I know the rest of the world saw it before me. I waited. All my friends said, "you got to see this movie Zach cuz the way you've talked about religion all your life this is IT!" And I thought that was pretty sour, that Hollywood could ever get my idea of religion right, but Kevin Smith's not Hollywood and I saw it and it was good. It's close. It doesn't quite take it to eleven though. What I find more interesting is seeing Kevin Smith's take on other Hollywood projects
. I feel for Kevin. He's like Daniel in the Lion's Den..
