So you two, um hrm, dig up dinosaurs? Oh drat. [Jeff Goldblum noises]

Jeff Goldblum, as Dr. Ian Malcolm, utters an odd little laugh in Jurassic Park. Here it is, extended to 10 minutes. And if that's not enough, try 10 hours! But that's too straight-forward, so Soundcloud user FLIPSHOT made a dance remix, which YouTube user MrTabarnaco2 made into a music video of sorts.

Was That A Smile Citizen Smith?

"I am standing at the traffic lights when the woman next to me, lost in her thoughts, suddenly bursts out laughing. Then she immediately covers her mouth with her hand and glances around, embarrassed. This gives me an idea. I phone the photographer Stephen Gill. 'Let's walk around looking for people who are laughing to themselves because of something they've just thought of,' I say. 'When we find them, you take their photograph and I'll ask them what they were thinking about that was so funny.'" Jon Ronson sets out to discover the secret source of joy.

Laughter capital of the world ?

Laughter capital of the world? "Declining audiences, dull material, complacent comics: a crisis is looming ....London suddenly appears to be in the grip of a recession for the first time since the alternative comedy boom took off at the beginning of the 1980s." From a nation exporting Bill Bailey(live in NYC this week) ,Eddie Izzard, Ali G, can this really be happening? (BTW I always thought Canada tried to lay a claim to this crown?)

On average people laugh 18 times a day "It makes us less stressed, lowers our blood pressure and reduces anxiety. It's more common than sex, eating or singing." Still 18 times a day doesn't sound like its enough. Simple solution. "Tickle, the most ancient and reliable stimulus of laughter, is undervalued..."
