In 1994, after a perceived slight, Saafir the Saucee Nomad battled Casual of the Hieroglyphics crew at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. This confrontation led to one of the better (recorded) rap battles when Saafir's Hobo Junction crew battled Casual and the Hieroglyphics on Sway and Tech's radio show on KMEL in San Francisco.

Little Hands, a commercial for Herringbone Sydney, won the Silver Lion award at the Cannes Lions 2008 international advertising festival. There is an accompanying print ad series (one in the series, "Bulgarians", was not well received by Saatchi&Saatchi Bulgaria). Today, the firm behind the Little Hands, M&C Saatchi, has been hired by the British government to sell its troubled ID card project to the public.

So, you've probably heard of Songfight by now. It's a competition in which every week or so, musicians submit a song based on a given title. Anyone can enter. What you probably didn't know... ...is that, among other artists, MC Frontalot and KOMPRESSOR both got their starts submitting to Songfight. Notably, MC Frontalot has never lost a fight.
