Who IS that man on the cover of Brill's Content this month!? A direct link to the cover image is
here. Discuss!
(I searched to see if this had been mentioned today and couldn't find any threads on it. Forgive me if I missed previous mentions...)

I-jacking! Sippey encourages you 'to inject chaos and anarchy into the post button by hijacking the identities and namesakes of your favorite web "icons."'
Who do you want to be today?

Jason put up a link to the
New Yorker article that mentions himself, Meg, Pyra, EV, etc. It also mentions MetaFilter and myself. I find this funny in a way, all of of these people that never would have known anything about each other are all interconnected. Why? Because Ev and Meg started Pyra. Because I read an article about the original Pyra app. Which led me to Blogger. Which led to Ev, Meg, Pb, MetaFilter... whcih led to Kottke, Haughey, etc. Ahhh the good old days

Creator of MetaFiler: Wedding Bliss, As Matt's Brother, I can report to all here at MetaFilter, the Wedding went as picture perfect as they imagined!
No rain, Everybody was in time for the ceremony, Lucky no Television Reporters crashing or blocking streets, No helicopters hovering above.
It was a beautiful, simple gathering of friends and family
Here are the Exclusive Photo's only for the Metafilter Community:
Exchanging of Vows
and
The Big Kiss!
Best of luck to Matt & Kay!!!

I was checking this site's statistics tonight, and there's 30 people simultaneously visiting at 1AM PST. This is very odd. And then I noticed, MetaFilter is
the ProjectCool sighting today. Cool!

If you had problems reaching MetaFilter over the weekend,
this is why. Some script kiddies launched some gnarly smurf attacks against the regional ISP that provides bandwidth for this site. Oh well, it gave me time to code. I've added lots of little enhancements (like user pages, a working search engine), but still have to get the archives working and expand the preferences page.
