Russ proposed 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls' meets 'A Hard Day's Night.'" Though best known for his role as hunky Lance Rocke in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, the actor/author was also distinguished by a career as a beefcake pin-up boy. Sadly, he has passed away at the age of 67.
