The <a href="http://www.metafilter.com/81574/Twits-in-space">previous tweets</a> were e-mailed to the ground where support personnel posted them to the astronaut's Twitter account. <a href="http://www.collectspace.com/ubb/Forum38/HTML/001004.html">Currently there are 17 active NASA astronauts and 6 internatual'nauts</a> tweeting from on high</a>.
