Nice Beer Ad from Down Under
a 1000 Auzzies in gowns crossing over the sheep strewn plains of Australia.
Ahh..foreign ads..perhaps this indeed the next form of cultural worms? I can see those soulless bastards on Madison Ave.."Yes..lets push hard on the foreign angle and prey/pray some poor sod on MeFi picks it up..we'll be rich I tell ya RICH!!!"
Forgive me MeFiers.

We're several thousand feet down, where the pressure is about 3300 psi. The pressure inside that pipe? About zero. The crab? A goner.

My Friend Dario
Hot dancers in tiny bikinis and football helmets. A lead singer that looks like a pomo Leather Tuscadero. And headbanging mulletheads playing imaginary instruments. 'Nuff said.

Bizarre music video
featuring a cgi animated Nazi army composed of anthropomorphized piglets. The video is for a song called Shvayne by a 19 year old Russian singer named Natasha Ionova
, who performs under the name Glukoza
. Video is embedded flash animation.

Hayseed-Dixie "Ace of Spades" video
(link to a quicktime). This band covered Greendays "Holiday" on Top Of The Pops (BBC, UK) last week and in my opinion is was inspired genius. I couldn't find that video, so I'm posting this one instead. And I don't like R'n'B enough to know what this
is they're covering. Again a link to a quicktime, but it made me giggle.

spacecraft launched from Cape Canaveral on August 3, 2004 and returned to Earth for its first gravity boost
on the way to Mercury a year later on August 2, 2005. MESSENGER took hundreds of high-res digital photos during its Earth flyby
and they've been sequenced into an amazing movie
of Earth rotating over 24 hours as the spacecraft swung past at thousands of miles per hour.

DTV beta for Mac is now live. DTV is a new, free and open-source platform for internet television and video. The goal here is to make sure that internet TV is open and independent. Free, open source software and open standards mean anyone can watch and everyone has a voice.
