The latest Honda television commercial, "
Sense" being shown in the UK, is the follow up to the
widely discussed "Cog." It's quite not as cool as its predecessor, but still, an elegant, interesting concept. Apologies for the somewhat low quality of the java video stream.

Freedomads.org is sponsoring a contest that challenges visitors to create video, print, or audio ads that "inspire people with an advertisement for freedom." How would you sell freedom?

Sean Penn totally disses President Bush in the Washington Post but because he did it in a full page ad and not an op/ed column it is totally unlinkable to those of use on the web, and therefore dies on the vine.
Two questions: How can one find the full transcript to Penn's advertisment, and why is it that only Republican movie stars are allowed have their voices heard in political discussions?

This ad was banned in the UK. Did anyone see it? Sounds cool to me. In a time when advertisers are struggling to capture people's attention and
dull advertising reigns supreme, why haven't we gotten over this fear of offending those with 'delicate' sensibilities?

GINORMOUS banner ad at download.com. From what I can tell, it only auto-expands on the first visit, presumably cookied, but I was still pretty annoyed. If you click to view, it blows up again, runs a little commercial at you(sndtrk by Madonna), and shrinks again. A little better than the layout-destroying monoliths other sites are using?

This ad , by the PETA had me LOL and still makes me laugh each time I see it. Actually it's pretty terrible, but that's probably why it's so funny.... See for yourself (Quicktime required)

Nader does good ad. Pair of talking heads on Nader's upcoming TV ad. Interesting analysis, and links to either a transcript or a Windows Media file of the ad.

This has got to be the funniest thing I've ever seen from from a President. How in the
world did they get all of those people to do this and what in the hell was it for? There was no trailer on the end. Is it just a ad released to circulate among the populace to repair the lagacy of a disgraced President?
