To mark the occasion, the <i>New York Times</i> prints an <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/19/opinion/19wed2.html?_r=2&scp=1&sq=Emilio+Gonzalez&st=nyt&oref=slogin&oref=slogin">editorial</a> exposing the magnitude of the case backlog that USCIS currently faces, and their decided lack of speed in handling said backlog. Gonzalez doesn't like the editorial, so he <a href="http://www.dhs.gov/journal/leadership/2008/03/fit-to-print.html">blogs about it</a>.
