"I gather a repulsive nobody writing in a paper no one of any decency would be seen dead with has written something loathesome and inhumane." Stephen Gately of the band Boyzone died of natural causes while on vacation in Spain with his husband. Jan Moir of The Daily Mail saw it differently and links his homosexuality to his death. Reaction to her column is not kind. Coincidence or not, the Press Complaints Commission website is still unreachable. Meanwhile, Jan Moir is blaming the backlash on an "orchestrated internet campaign".
