Sure the television broadcasts catch every angle of NASCAR wrecks. However, I think views from the grandstands offer a unique view of the thrill and danger of these events. [more inside]

conducted by the folks at leftlanenews.com. Can a Ferrari 575 catch up to a Fiat hatckback after a 31-second head start in a single-lap track race? Better still, can an F1 car catch up to both after waiting 1:27? The results aren’t necessarily surprising, but it’s pretty stunning to see.

Dale Earnhardt, Inc to honor Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes

Way of life ending for NASCAR fans
as coolers banned from racetracks. Is this an example of increased security or overt paranoia? "Right now you don't know who you can trust, you don't know who the guy sitting next to you is and you don't know if his cooler could be a bomb."

Fire Marshall killed
at Italian Grand Prix.
I hope the banked track at the new Indianapolis track doesn't kill anyone. Formula
One has never raced on a banked surface before.
