Children R Skary dot net is available in flash too, if you're so inclined. These children have been very naughty, but methinks Santa fears them. Katy Towell isn't sad or unlucky, but she's a very busy little girl. If you like her stuff more than I do, you can help. heh... i can't believe no one before me has posted this artist's incredible work to The Blue. I did searches and can't find her. Well, she's here, but you have to know where to look.. and I'll leave it at that. =)

Inner City Youth, London "In 2002, Simon Wheatley began photographing London's publich housing developments...and was able to obtain a level of intimacy with his subjects that provides a true picture of the daunting project of growing up in the intimate confines of drug use, societal neglect, and poverty." This (Flash-based) narrated slideshow features Wheatley's work, and is a look at the culture...and also the music (grime) "as an artistic response to the place and circumstance, an expression of the violence, bleakness, and neglect..." Similar to a post last year, this version adds sounds from native speakers and some cute visuals, making for a neat toy. The Try Group's site uses a simple Flash "game" to deliver their central idea: that children should be encouraged to look at the world in different ways. There's a little more info at the developer's site.
Neat concept, and also just fun to poke around in for a little while.
