"A slew of "real" musicians will join Samberg on the album, including T-Pain, Norah Jones, Jack Black, E-40, the Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas and Justin Timberlake." The album has a bunch of older and SNL-developed tracks, but also enough new stuff (like the update of Just Two Guys, We Like Sports) that f a n s might be reasonably expecting more gold this year from the Dudes. Everyone’s favorite soccer mom runs errands around town with the help of special guests like Bill Hader (SNL), Rashida Jones (The Office), Lonny Ross (30 Rock), and Rob Riggle (The Daily Show). Of course, she’s willing to leave the van behind to visit her heroines, Hillary and Oprah. The show was independently produced by the lovely Maggie Carey and Second City/SNL vet Liz Cackowski before being picked up by Warner Brothers. Some say Jeannie’s shoot first, market later webisode approach is the future of entertainment. But it hasn’t worked out for everyone so far.

I am stuck on The Borowitz Report and The Onion when it comes to favorite regularly updated satire on the Internet. I also enjoy the Slate cartoons, the JibJab animated cartoons, and Mark Fiore's flash. There is also the Specious Report, and the very meta SatireSearch. I am sure that I am still missing some good satire. MeFi'ers, where do you go for your satire?

Dutch West Internet based comedy troupe from NYC. Updated Thursdays with sketch comedy and musical (and sometimes political) "white box sessions". They also do a live show downtown the first and third Saturday of the month. Their Myspace has showtimes listed. Got tipped off to these guys after catching their live show by chance and I've been following them ever since.
