My attempts were met with timeouts. Other reports (<a href="http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/07/28/068211">Slashdot</a>) show that others are having trouble with access as well. Surely the people behind this have enough experience at Google to realize you have to have orders of magnitude of capacity above what you think you need to make sure all search is fast, accurate, and error free.
