"I became known as the first "cybersex fiend" Finally cleared and released Oliver Jovanovic in his own words in the NY Post: "...Thankfully Steve Dunleavy, a reporter for the New York Post, saw straight away that the whole prosecution was completely rotten. And he wrote that again and again until he finally had my named cleared...I believe in the police, I believe in the government and believe in the United States of America. But I need District Attorney Robert Morganthau or Fairstein, the outrageous self-promoter, to please explain how I did 20 months in prison, cost my family more than half a million dollars in legal fees, and got stabbed in the neck by some wacko while I was eating corn flakes. " Honest journalism by Mr Dunleavy and the NY Post in the noble pursuit of justice, or sly schemers boosting circulation as the tech bubble burst ?

Cyberdildonics describes a technology which permits someone to remotely control a dildo over the internet. Reach out and touch someone! (I bet they're working on that next.)

Can we say "Most misleading headline"? "Cybersex News Report Sparks Outcry" sure doesn't imply to me the same thing as the body of the story. I thought there might actually be something more interesting inside.

"We are trying to understand why sex is the most searched for topic on the Internet." MSNBC is taking "what we believe is the most comprehensive cybersex survey to hit the Web," because this online fascination with sex is just baffling to them. I wonder if anyone will be giving honest answers -- I'm certainly not planning to ("yep, monkeys and Jell-O...").

Cybersex addiction? Here's an AP wire story that's a fairly thin re-write of a BBC story on people becoming addicted to cybersex. Some interesting facts -- it's almost 50/50 women (how come *I* can never find them? :-). Fairly balanced, if you read the whole thing, but still a bit inflammatory.
