Has DRM just been
dealt
a
crippling blow
? "Today [the US Copyright Office has]
designated six classes of works
. Persons who
circumvent access controls
in order to
engage in noninfringing uses of works
in these six classes

could
have
been
won
, and in doing so is helping to creating precedents that make fights for civil liberties harder to wage.
