Kozmo's website is back up but this time with an interesting memo:
". . . any rental item you do not return by April 16,2001 will be deemed a purchase and your credit card will be charged the full retail value of the item."
the site came back up yesterday. not much notice for returns . . .

Coca-Cola on tap at home? New recipies that include "2 cups of Coca-Cola"? Taking this a step further makes it interesting, with all manner of juices being available on-call.

According to MSNBC, Kozmo delivers to predominantly white parts of town. This is a thorny issue all around. The company claims to target areas of high internet usage, but there's a whole host of factors that would lead to huge racial differences in those areas. I still believe one of the greatest things about the internet is that it's a place where race
really doesn't matter, but unfortunately the barriers to entry aren't exactly colorblind. MSNBC went so far as to produce
some interesting maps that support their claim pretty well though.

How much would you pay for a giant donut? Don't answer yet. What if that donut were not 7, not 9, but 14" in diameter? Now how much would you pay? $10? $20? $25?
Best Donut Man of New York will deliver a giant 14" donut to your doorstep for a mere $43.95 (which includes overnight delivery)! Now if only I could find someone to deliver a garbage can size cup of coffee and some throwrug sized napkins, I'd be totally set.
