Seikou Yamaoka spends a lot of time on his iphone. But he's not playing games or texting or reading, he's creating art
. He's also created some amazingly hypnotic time-lapse videos
of his works in creation, including this reproduction
of Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring
(done on an ipad mini rather than an iphone). Full gallery
of his digital finger painting. He also does traditional watercolours

is all the wonder of a large US city Museum of Modern Art, crammed into tiny pixelated goodness. Mouseover the pieces to see titles and artist names. [via archinect
