Who is John Dishwasher?

Who is John Dishwasher? "Follow the white box" beckoned a mysterious and inviting flyer posted at several Massachusetts colleges. The simple website contains an online publication of Gods of Our Fathers, the first of what is suggested to be many novels by this reclusive author. Is this the next lonelygirl13 or just a new take on the serialized novel?
One thing's for sure: whoever made the website aims to intrigue with vaguely suggestive hints as to the author's personal life. "We do not forward personal mail to John Dishwasher. He will not accept it. The reason for this will become clear in his later works." Could this be the rabbithole to a new alternate reality game, or just a get rich quick scheme?

Shouldn't you cook salmon in your dishwasher?

Shouldn't you cook salmon in your dishwasher? Poaching fish in the dishwasher is a virtually foolproof way to shock your friends, prepare a succulent meal, and do the dishes—all at the same time. Not all of the The Surreal Gourmet's offerings are quite so weird, but they might, as he claims, make you into a culinary hero.

The Golden Age of Zines

Beer Frame and
Dishwasher
and
Murder Can Be Fun.
My top 3 Zines of all
time (here's a list of
more). There was a used record/comics store near where I worked.
They had lots of Zines and I would frequent them just to see if new
issues were in. Weeks of waiting were sometimes rewarded with
a new issue. Almost always worth the wait. Anyone have a favorite?
Any good Zines around anymore? [more inside]
