djc steps down from evolt.org After years of insanely large amounts of contributions that sustained the community, Daniel J. Cody (djc) decides he needs to move on to other things. Who will pick up the slack? I guess we'll see.

Evolt relaunches a redesigned site that has been months in the making. Now with article ratings to go along with the existing categorization and commenting abilities. Interface customization is coming soon, but my hat's off to the great collaborative programming and writing on evolt.

A group of folks from the evolt.org mailing list decided to do something to protest etoys's recent actions. One person purchased a domain, another setup web space, a couple people wrote some articles and I designed the site. Keep that boycott going.

Evolt opened their new browser archive yesterday. There's more than 80 browsers, both old and new, I was stoked to find and install IE 1.5. Here's a screenshot of evolt.org in the old IE
