Bloglines.com is closing down. According to Ask.com, the owners of Bloglines, the world is very different now from the world in which Bloglines was launched.
"The Internet has undergone a major evolution. The real-time information RSS was so astute at delivering (primarily, blog feeds) is now gained through conversations, and consuming this information has become a social experience."

RSS Mailer emails the contents of RSS feeds to mailing list users. You can manage your users and RSS feeds through a web interface and send a selected number of items from your RSS feeds (individually or all together) to the email addresses on your mail list. Users can subscribe/unsubscribe themselves through forms, or the administrator can subscribe/unsubscribe them through the web interface. You probably won't need

Google's News has
launched as a new tab on their other search interfaces with a heavy redesign, though it still carries a "beta" label. The front page changes every few minutes based on some hidden popularity algorithm, as do the sub-pages. Featuring a stark ad-free design that looks quite a bit more attractive than CNN.com or any other major news site, perhaps robot-collected news is the wave of the future.

CBS changes their mind!!! I was one of the few people who was considering paying the $20 to watch the Big Brother feeds all summer long. I figured that I spend at least that much money on beer during a night out that three month's on entertainment for $20 seemed like a bargain.
However, CBS apparently listened to all the complaints and now instead of a "Free Trial", they are giving the internet feeds away for free.
Good CBS. Now expose Will, Justin, and Mike as the jerks they are on Tuesday's episode and you'll have a happy camper.
Okay, and give me Hardy's phone number as well.
