So, Vanity Fair reports rumors that Live Free Or Die Hard will be toned down to a PG-13 rating instead of a hard R. A writer for Aint It Cool News responds with an extended rant about "the pansy-assing of the 4th DIE FLACCID movie." End-of-the-world fanboy ranting continues in the TalkBacks for a couple days, when a Walter B shows up claiming (indirectly) to be Bruce Willis. Walter B trash-talks about the previous Die Hard sequels, Michael Bay, and Cybill Shepherd. The admins are skeptical. iChat FTW! Just wait till the bloggers get ahold of this one!

First National Lampoon does a "parody" of the bumps on Cartoon Network's popular Adult Swim programming block. Then G4's Attack of the Show responded (and the editor of the Lampoon's site responds in the comments -- look for posts by JayPink), and then Adult Swim themselves did on Sunday (Flash re-creation of the aired bump). World's Greatest CEO? Comparison shopping site MySimon.com had its namesake character animated by Blur studios, and placed into a live-action commercial where he goes to a party and tells everyone how much cheaper they could have gotten various items in attendance. Apparently Frank DiMauro of Chapel Hill, NC didn't like the commercials and told the CEO of the animation studio who really could've cared less what Frank thought. I wish all CEO's had the nutz to reply to jerks like this guy. (Thanx to the Digital Pimps at BadAssMofo for this story and link).
