Craig Baldwin creates "collage essay" films, redeeming or taking revenge on the trash(ed) videos of the past, and making movies on the cheap (YT interview). The work of this culture jammer, media appropriator, director and documentarian (Sonic Outlaws, Archive.org) stretches back to his short student films in the 1970s, and often includes political commentary, usually concerning the exploitation of countries and people under imperialism, capitalist or otherwise. Forgotten Silver tells the story of pioneering filmmaker Colin McKenzie. This legendary New Zealander created the worlds first colour film and first talking film. He created the first tracking shot and captured footage of a pre-Wright brothers flight. The briefcase was found three decades after the affair took place. The contents of the suitcase: an extraordinary collection of found materials that chronicled the adulterous relationship between a businessman and his secretary in the late 1960s and 70s.

Winnebago Man is the name given to a set of outakes from a 1987 instructional video presented by Jack Rebney. As Rebney swore, thumped and shouted his way through the virtues of said RV, the crew captured it all, and tapes circulated and eventually made him a YouTube hit. Ben Steinbauer went to find Jack, to discover what he made of his online notoriety, and eventually deliver him to his audience to see whether they were what he expected.
