Gotta see the whole town, From Yonkers on down to the bay, in just one day.

In the spirit of Miami Shark and Sydney Shark comes the latest offering in the series: New York Shark.

I WILL find the princess and slay the dragon - I swear!

In the spirit of the Monkey Island saga's point-and-click interface and quirky, anachronistic humor, comes the Flash-based tale of Nick Toldy and the Legend of Dragon Peninsula. Cry havoc and release the dogs of retro and homage!

Welcome...welcome.

This is Zombotron. You can scavenge for items and kill the undead in this Flash game. Your less-advanced mechanical brethren may even shoot you on site, as they are only programmed to detect motion. Welcome to Zombotron.

Then...

The I of It. Flash for a Friday.

This game will NOT work in IE because it doesn’t support the canvas element.

It's Flash Friday HTML 5 Wednesday! A variant of Asteroids has been unleashed on the web, as proof of the canvas element's abilities within the updated markup language; however, the color palette is opposite of the arcade game's original scheme, hyperdrive and shields are absent, as is audio, since in hypertext, additional lines of code are necessary for anyone to hear you scream. Knee-Deep in the Dead, Redux

DOOM is a 3D adventure game with arcade-style elements. It was programmed for computers running DOS Flash 10. Here's the plot: your character is a Space Marine on the planet Mars, who uses guns his fist, and even a chainsaw to kill monsters from another dimension.

Finally, there's a game that just is a database!

mySQLgame. Naturally, it's an alpha build. [via]

A grim day for robot kind...but we could always build more killbots...

Fearless Fightin' Flash Fun for Friday: Robokill is a demo that recalls the overhead action of SMASH TV - though this time, you're placed in the metal shoes of a lowly salvage bot, sent to decimate your mechanical brethren who commandeered an orbital outpost. As you clear the halls for the benefit of some lazy humans, you can trade supplies and armaments with an alien merchant who mistakes you for one of Earth's fleshbags. It's a thankless job, sure, but you're supposed to be a remorseless machine...[via]

Yes. This ring...it's Forerunner.

Halo Zero. The Fall of Reach, old-school style. Some plucky French coders have borrowed a page from Codename: Gordon, the side-scrolling homage to Half-Life. As a result, Master Chief and his cohorts are now fighting the Covenant in 16-bit, 2D graphics. PC download only - though Mac owners at least have Boot Camp to avoid waiting for an OS X port. via Aeropause
