The belief is that current privacy issues surrounding genetic information is leading to a decline in research. With a hoped for 100,000 participants the<a href="http://www.personalgenomes.org/mission.html"> idea is to give a boost to medical research involving the human genome</a>. Pinker and the 9 other volunteers have posted up <a href="http://www.personalgenomes.org/public/">their medical history</a>, and will add information such as tastes and preferences, ethnic backgrounds.
