The FBI will continue to get to refer to Juggalos as a gang. "A federal judge has dismissed Insane Clown Posse's lawsuit against the FBI and the Justice Department, allowing the agencies to continue classifying the group's fans, called Juggalos, as a "gang." According to the Associated Press's Tuesday report, U.S. District Judge Robert Cleland ruled last week that because a 2011 FBI report on gangs is "descriptive," and not " prescriptive," it doesn't break any laws." It's that time again. Time for the Juggalos to gather, this year in Cave In Rock, Illinois. The theme? Zombies, of course. And our very own dabitch has the 23-minute infomercial. (Previously and previously and previously.)
Yes ninjas, it's that time of the year again! It's the Insane Clown Posse's 2011 Gathering Of The Juggalos Infomercial! All 27 minutes and 3 seconds of it! Staring Vanilla Ice as Vanilla Zerg! (or something - there's a sci-fi theme) Whoop! Whoop! SLYT NSFW
Fools' Gold: An Oral History of the Insane Clown Posse Parodies. "[T]he group is enjoying a resurgence in attention, if not popularity, from a wave of Internet comedy videos poking fun at their music and their legions of harlequin-faced fans, who call themselves Juggalos... Here, Insane Clown Posse, the writers of “Saturday Night Live” and the creator of “Juggalo News” retrace the path of this unlikely media circus."[previously, previouslier] [more inside]
The many MeFites previously disappointed by not being able to attend the recent and enticingly promoted 10th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos will be delighted to know that a similar opportunity presents itself. (SLYT - moderately NSFW)
A (NSFW) infomercial for the 10th annual Gathering of the Juggalos. Juggalos being, of course, fans of The Insane Clown Posse so dedicated to the band that they've formed their own subculture (and slang!). The root of Juggalo fandom is Psychopathic Records, with The Insane Clown Posse and its scads of acolytes (treat all videos all NSFW). But there's also JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling), rumors of Juggalo gangs, Juggalo comedy, and (previously) religion.
