Re-introducing the work of George Condo. "George Condo is a man possessed by visions. A successful Soho artist, he paints what he sees: the "antipodal beings" that dominate his imagination ... They look like nothing so much as muppets or troll dolls as painted by Walter Keane." Featured recently at the Whitney Museum, Condo's work is finding a new audience as the cover art for Kanye West's latest single, "Power." [more inside]

The Bolt Who Screwed Christmas is the last movie narrated by Jonathan Harris (Lost in Space). A short animated parody of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Voices also include Marta Kristen, Angela Cartwright and Bill Mumy, also from Lost in Space. Nominated for a number of awards at the L.A. Reel Film Festival. Posted here at Meta because this is the only movie trailer you'll ever watch with what seems to be a naked woman (at 24 secs in this link) in a relationship with a bolt. A unique wtf moment in movie making!

M. Joseph Young does rather interesting, detailed temporal analyses of the different timelines created by the Terminator films, the Back To The Future trilogy, Millennium, those Trek films that dealt with time travel, 12 Monkeys, Flight Of The Navigator, Army of Darkness, Lost In Space, Peggy Sue Got Married, the Bill & Ted movies, Frequency, Planet of the Apes, Kate and Leopold, Somewhere In Time, The Time Machine, Minority Report, Happy Accidents, The Final Countdown, Donnie Darko, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Deja Vu. Robots, classic robots!
How to build a B9. "What?" The B9! You know, "The robot from Lost in Space". From B9 Today, "your B9 Robot Resource." See also: B9 Robot Builders Club and the Robot Builder's Sourcebook and Robot Hut. Everybody's doing it.
(Also from B9 Today, building the Mystic Seer Machine from the Twilight Zone classic "Nick of Time," starring Wm Shatner and written by the legendary Richard Matheson).
Of course, the sorely neglected Robby "could and should be build" too. And where's Gort, and sexy Maria? Ehh, you can probably chat with her somewhere on this "AI" robot page.

Jonathan Harris (1914-2002) No one wreaked interplanetary havoc -- and devoured Irwin Allen's scenery -- quite like Harris as Dr. Zachary Smith, the distinctively diabolical space stow-away in the 60's TV series Lost In Space. A fifty-year veteran of movies and TV, Harris was 87 when he passed away Sunday.
