iToilet : It's not a new idea, and it's been discussed before (though that link no longer works). Some guys in France have come up with a new and "improved" use for the Mac Mini. Other variations on the same theme.

How to run Fedora Core 4 on a Mac Mini... RedHat's Colin Charles explains how to install the free Fedora next to Mac OS X Tiger on the inexpensive Mac Mini. Linux doesn't get much easier or stylish than this.

Why the Mac Mini may signal the end of Apple as a traditional computer company. Jobs might well be looking beyond Apple's role as a niche computer maker with this new product.
