Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt, Available in Various Sizes She told me she liked the wolves on my shirt, I told her I wanted to howl at her moon. She offered me a swig from her mountain dew, and I drove my scooter, with her shuffling along side out the door and into the rest of our lives. Thank you wolf shirt ... There is one thing, though, and that is that whenever I wear the wolf shirt I have a lot less issues with involuntary urination ... You are the wolf pack leader ... If you like it then you better put a wolf shirt on ... If you are planning on spending exactly $9.14 on yourself this year, this better be the purchase ... Unfortunately I already had this exact picture tattooed on my chest, but this shirt is very useful in colder weather.

conjures up the great Slydini. Part 1.
, Part 2.
"It was like seeing a man walk up a wall. Nothing prepared you for it. Right at the start, a solid, heavy silver dollar, held before my eyes, vanished into thinnest air. And by no method I knew of. Certainly no sleeves. The two hours flew too quickly."

"Some day we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers, and me."
In 1979, Paul Williams
and Kenneth Ascher
composed "The Rainbow Connection
" [midi] which served as a radio hit and song for the The Muppet Movie
. It was nominated for an Academy Award and reviewed
in the allmusic guide as a song in which "Kermit the Frog sings with all the dreamy wistfulness of a short green Judy Garland." Enclosed are some performances of it I hope you enjoy. [more inside]

are a bunch of crazy German software engineers known best for making Melodyne, a family of top of the line pitch correction tools. Apparently they've recently figured out how to do what they do with polyphonic audio.
I can't begin to explain how cool this is. Just watch the video.

How do you fit Fred "Rerun" Berry, Shaun Cassidy, Howard Cosell, Kate Jackson, Hal Linden, Penny Marhsall, Kristy McNichol, Donny & Marie, Parker Stevenson, Dick Van Patten, Adam Rich, Abe Vigoda, and Cindy Williams all into a single 48 minute TV show? It would take a magician like David Copperfield, in his first television special in 1977.

Everybody loves Zombies. Everybody loves killing Zombies. Nobody wants to suddenly wake up surrounded by Zombies. Not when you thought you were just playing a video game

The glass trick.
(Note: includes embedded video. Soundtrack is mostly in Japanese but can be ignored.)
I've been a magician for almost 40 years now and am up on the latest tech but I have very little idea of how the performer accomplishes what you see in this video.

Katrina: The Gathering
is the latest great new collectible card game!
I almost don't know how to describe it. A brilliant, concise, very complete, and quite hilarious1
summary of the the political fallout. It just keeps going and going and going. I think I want to play a game of it.

A group of psychics led by colourful 'SilverJade
', based in Johannesburg South Africa, have predicted
that a series of earthquakes and other natural disasters will strike the western coast of the United States on or around the 23rd of February 2005. The prediction is based on the interpretation of a series of dreams by SilverJade, and the technical analysis of earthquake patterns occuring worldwide throughout the month of January 2005. As of 11th of February 2005, they have successfully predicted a significant event, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake in south eastern Alaska, as being a first step in a series of smaller events
leading up to the big bang. The next step of the prediction is set to occur at some time on or around the 13th and 15th of the month.

Pretty slick mind-reading trick...
Perhaps wizened MetaFilter readers will see through its inner workings, but to me, this site just looked like magic. The page vanishes after a minute of disuse, so you may need to link more than once.
