Right before the 10th anniversary
of the first same-sex marriage in Canada, Saskatchewan's highest court has ruled
that a proposed law allowing provincial marriage commissioners to refuse to wed same-sex couples is unconstitutional.

"Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix."

Well, if the track record of straight marriages is any indication, this was bound to happen sooner or later. "Less than seven months after same-sex couples began tying the knot in Massachusetts, the state is seeing ts first gay divorces."

Bush calls for same-sex marriage-ban amendment Pres. Bush
called for a constitutional amendment against gay marriage today, blaming "activist judges", the Massachusettes Supreme Court, and the mayor of San Francisco, among others, for attempting "to change the most fundamental institution of civilization."
How this call for an amendment plays out remains to be seen
