Flight 93 movie....

Universal Studios is making a movie of Flight 93 (the 9/11 plane that crashed in Pennsylvania). The funny thing is, this movie is not the one by Oliver Stone (which is going to be about police officers). Also, from what I can tell, this venture is going to be a commercial one although it has "full support" of the families of that Flight. It seems like we'll have to brace for a decent amount of 9/11 related TV shows and movies only a couple years after the attacks.

"If some tinhorn terrorist wants me, tell him to come and get me! I'll be at home, waiting for the bastard!" These were the brave words spoken by President George W. Bush on September 11th, 2001. Or at least they were according to the upcoming Showtime Original Movie now filming, scheduled to air on the second anniversary of the attacks. Labelled as a "docudrama" mixing filmed scenes with actual 9/11 footage, the film will co-star 24 actress Penny Johnson and feature George Takai as Norman Mineta. Go ahead, read that again. It'll brace you for when you realize the actor playing George Bush seems slightly familiar.

The "Sum Of All Fears"

The "Sum Of All Fears" trailer recently went online, and is already causing some heated discussion over major changes from the book. In the wake of 9/11, it seems that terrorists in the film have been changed from Muslim to Neo-Nazi (who then go on to detonate a bomb within the United States). Hollywood knee-jerk reaction or a good call given the timing of things? Discuss...
