Heiterkeit (12 meg quicktime movie) is an utterly charming German music video about all the other fun things you can do lying down. (Yes, it's entirely safe for work, unless your workplace forbids quirky charm.) If you enjoy it, check out Transsylvanische Verwandte(12 meg quicktime movie), another work by the same director. For a look behind the scenes of both films, there's this making-of video. (The making of video is a realplayer file, and it's in German--but I don't speak German, and I got the general idea.) Dannybot is a short musical film about a lonely man whose robot goes off to war. It shouldn't be confused with What's Your Name, a music video about a lonely robot office worker, which itself shouldn't be confused with the previously-MeFi'd one about a worker who doesn't know he's a robot, or the one about the worker who is haunted by robots, or the much lower-tech Kraftwerk video "The Robots (mpg video), or the video about a robot scavenger in a third-world nation (mp4 video) (which itself shouldn't be confused with that previously-MeFi'd non-musical short about a robot cop in a third-world nation), none of which should be confused with any of the various shorts (Windows Media) and commercials(MPG) about breakdancing robots(streaming video). However, any of the previous videos about robots could have been made by the robots in this music video about robots making a music video(quicktime). If any of this is unclear, please contact your local League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots.

Waverly Films are "a Brooklyn-based production company." MeFites have already seen their kitten-filled video for Fatboy Slim's Joker. They've also produced off-kilter videos for Slim's Wonderful Night and Jason Forest's Stepping Out, as well as an evocative-if-not-quite-as-cool promo for The Thrill's The Irish Keep Gatecrashing (embedded quicktime in all three of those video links. Real and WindowsMedia streams for the Fatboy Slim videos can be found at AstrarlWeks;click on "Video Gallery").
