The
Guardian and
Time write about the rise of neo-Nazi groups in Mongolia.
The view (or at least a view) from Ulan Bator. Pertinent images from the Guardian and from Time's photographer
here and
here respectively.

Everybody knows that gangsta rap promotes sexism, homophobia... and fascism. Take
Bushido, for instance - the Berlin rapper of Tunisian descent that all the neo-Nazis love.
Confused?
(nyt) Well,
so are the Germans. And then we're not even talking about
Fler, whose
"This is black-red-gold, hard and proud!" nationalist lyrics never fail to piss off the
German papers (in German), and who likes to pose in his videos with a nice symbolic eagle. (Then again,
Helmut Kohl didn't mind.)
Still, Fler's flag-waving, eagle-loving rhymes are no match for Bushido's
"Salute, stand to attention, I am the leader like 'A'". The A stands for Adolf, you know.

From the jawdropping-stupidity-in-advertising dept: Target
recently pulled its "eight eight" line of clothing upon learning of its neo-Nazi undertones. At the same time, British sneaker pimp Umbro got spanked for naming a new line of kicks "Zyklons" — which may seem like a meaningless Decepticon-esque fake word unless you happen to remember that the Nazis used Zyklon B (hydrocyanic acid) in their death chambers. But, OK, still, some marketing twerp that doesn't know his world history, working for Umbro — fine. Pull the sneakers, no harm, no foul.
But Umbro is not the only manufacturer trying to get some play out of the Zyklon name. Turns out that Siemens — a
German manufacturer — wanted to have
a new, Zyklon-branded line of appliances. Among the to-be-branded Zyklon products?
Gas ovens.

Unlikely Allies Bound by a Common Hatred.
"Herr von Laden is an example for our children." The bridge between radical Muslims and the neo Nazis in Europe and the United States.
In 1991, German neo-Nazis tried to form a "Condor Legion" to fight alongside Iraqis against the U.S.-led international coalition. More recently, members of the European far right have journeyed to Baghdad to express solidarity with Saddam Hussein.

The Norwegian neo-nazi organization Vigrid is
suing*
on behalf of Nordic-looking women seeking damages after suffering from blonde jokes. Are blonde jokes racial slurs?
