Proceeds go to OneKid OneWorld. The album tells the story of America's past, present and apocalyptic future. Put together by Daily Show writer Rob Kutner, Tonight Show writer Joel Moss Levinson, and Steven Levinson, the album features a stacked roster of indie musicians and comedians, including Will Forte, Aubrey Plaza, Patton Oswalt, Aimee Mann, The Sklar Brothers, Reggie Watts, Right Said Fred with Reggie Watts and Mayim Bialik, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog with The Rebirth Brass Band, Maria Bamford & Jonathan Katz, Andrew WK, Bobcat Goldthwait & Sally Timms, Paul F. "You're barred from Trivia Night!"

That's it. The Internet is done. Courtesy of The Nerdist, Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) hits up Karaoke Night with a stirring version of "West Coast" at everyone's favorite hive of Star Wars scum and villainy, the Cantina on Tatooine! Also: Making-of.

"That's when Han DROPS CHEWBACCA'S SEVERED HEAD onto the floor! Yes!"

Tasked with filibustering a town hall meeting in Parks and Recreation, Patton Oswalt improvised an eight minute monologue pitch for the next Star Wars movie -- which somehow grows to include the X-Men, the Avengers, the Greek pantheon, and Chewbacca getting a robot ("I'm thinking spider") body. Faster, Empire! Strike! Strike!

If Russ Meyer had directed Star Wars instead of George Lucas, and had gender-flipped all the characters, what would the action figures have looked like? At last, the answer can be known. [via] [more inside]

Somewhere on the spectrum between disturbing and cute

A video has been making the rounds of twin babies having a little conversation. Patton Oswalt and Michael Chiklis recreate the scene (mostly) detail for detail.

Mencia Jr.

We've talked about joke thieves before. The latest victim of hackery is Patton Oswalt. Mr. Oswalt received some videos of a comedy routine that show small-time actor/comedian Nick Madson repeating jokes by Patton, David Cross, Maria Bamford, and many others almost verbatim -- including the famous KFC Bowls routine. Nick wrote to Patton, claiming it was all a misunderstanding, but Patton dug a little deeper and found out that Madson's excuses were BS. Oswalt previously. Multiple videos, some with NSFW language

Whackity schmackity doo, kids!

All of you have been given a harsh gift. It’s the same gift the graduating class of 1917, and 1938, and 1968 and now you guys got – the chance to enter adulthood when the world teeters on the rim of the sphincter of oblivion. You’re jumping into the deep end. You have no choice but to be exceptional. Patton Oswalt addresses the class of 2008 at his old high school. [more inside]

Patton Oswalt Eats At KFC

Comedian Patton Oswalt has gotten a lot of mileage out of KFC's Famous Bowls ("a failure pile in a sadness bowl."); after years of mockery, he finally tries one for himself, and writes about the experience.

"He said he'd come like a lion, with wings on..."

Here are four classic short stories by John Collier in four different forms: the original text of his famous "Thus I Refute Beelzy"; a 1947 radio script for "Evening Primrose"; a radio version of "Back for Christmas", starring Peter Lorre; and Patton Oswalt's interpretation of "The Chaser."
