A journey through the postal service

SpyBox A digital camera inside a parcel looks out through a small hole and captures images of its journey through the postal system. (via) Separately, the pinhole parcel project sent pinhole cameras through the regular postal service, and along the way they recorded their journey on the photographic negative, “creating highly unpredictable, abstract imagery.”

True travel photography

Cameratruck. What do you get when you cross a pinhole camera with a truck? You get the world's largest mobile camera, and perhaps the only camera that is its own darkroom (at least on wheels!). The cameratruck is currently travelling Spain in a trip that will culminate in an exhibit at PHotoEspaña.

Steven Pippin's audacious pinhole camera pieces are epic at times, as the artist often goes to extremes to convert Bayonne, New Jersey washing machines, toilets, gallery spaces, and moving vans (no image) into pinhole cameras. A book about his James Eadweard Muybridge-inspired installation; "laundromat, locomotion". Noteworthy criticism, and how to make your own pinhole camera.
