Here's a retro computing oddity, info on the first portable color computer, the Commodore SX64, with a 5 1/4-inch floppy drive and a seriously tiny CRT monitor. Here's a demonstration and teardown. Here's a somewhat ridiculous commercial for it. Commodore had a lot of unreleased prototypes, but the SX actually made it to market. Not a prototype but still interesting is Steve Gray's hack on an old monochrome Commodore PET to display color. And he also has an archive of old Commodore brochures.

Look at these crazy bikes! These are future bikes!

The Seoul Cycle Design Competition: all shortlisted entries. Some examples: the winning entry. This one looks like a mean glow-worm. Some hearts, just for fun. A luggage-carrier. A foldable round bike. Horse that is only a pretend horse. Kind of a kitchy ivy lock. Poke around, look at all the different designs!

The chances you've played these games are slim.

The chances you've played these games are slim. Very slim. We're talking about arcade games made by Atari limited to runs of 2 or 3. Prototypes from dumpsters and ex-employee yard sales, original (hand-drawn!) marquees, garage-soldered circuit boards.

Somehow, this one guy keeps getting his hands on them. Lucky bastard. Sure obsessions like this might seem unhealthy, but he has working versions of Marble Man, Primal Rage II, and Beavis and Butthead; you don't.
