		<title>The Capp Photos</title>
		<link>http://www.metafilter.com/71396/The%2DCapp%2DPhotos</link>
<description>&lt;a href="http://faculty.ucmerced.edu/smalloy/atomic_tragedy/photos.html"&gt;The Robert L. Capp collection&lt;/a&gt; is a group of photographs of the aftermath of Hiroshima that are probably more graphic than any other photos of the tragedy that you have seen. Taken by an unknown Japanese photographer, they were found by Capp in a cave outside Hiroshima in 1945 and given to the Hoover Archives ten years ago, with the stipulation that they not be published until now. Warning, these are seriously, seriously not for the faint of heart, and probably NSFW. </description>
