Jim Babb first appeared in the ARG scene as Tim Scribbles, roommate to a
robot in search of love. More recently, he's been honing his skills with a family-friendly production called
Socks Inc., where the only barriers to entry are an old sock, a webcam, and some imagination.
Now what happens when he applies his unique blend of quirky humor and unself-conscious style to the real world in a heartfelt proposal to his partner in crime?
Julie, will you marry me? [more inside]

What can be done with worn, outgrown or single socks? Well, if you want to wear those favourite socks awhile longer, you can
darn them. If your baby’s feet are no longer so tiny, make a
baby sock purse or
sachet,
baby sock reindeer, or
baby sock corsage or
bouquet decorations for a friend’s baby shower. You can
make a hat out of your child’s outgrown socks, or your kids can make
Barbie clothes. You can use single socks to make a
foot massager,
potholders,
slippers, a
dog rug, a
snowman,
sock puppets or
cute critters. Or
sock art installations.
See these articles for more pedestrian ways to use socks.

Lonely Socks. Have you ever rifled through your socks drawer to find only three socks. One green, one blue and the other yellow? Where did the other one go? Post your single socks here and help them find their partners.
