After a sad childhood in the circus, Camilla joined the <a href="http://science.nasa.gov/heliophysics/">Heliophysics</a> team at NASA and befriended <a href="http://www.facebook.com/NASA.Little.SDO">Little SDO</a>, the satellite component of the <a href="http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/sdo/main/index.html">the Solar Dynamics Observatory.</a> In her capacity as SDO mascot and astrochick, Camilla flew into space with Little SDO, <a href="http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2012/19apr_camilla/">flew into a solar radiation storm</a>, <a href="http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/swx/">continues to monitor space weather</a>, and is training for <a href="http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2012/11/camilla-nasa-rubber-chicken/">a trip to the International Space Station</a> alongside astronaut<a href="http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/wiseman.html"> Lt. Commaner Wiseman</a>.
