Stile is giving up. Pressure from PETA, 800 e-mails a day and 100,000 unique visitors a day has led the 2000 Webby award winner to put his site up on eBay for auction.

Stile has hit the fan. His "Kitten - It's what's for dinner" video has finally attracted the attention of PETA, et al. Oddly enough, they seem non-plussed. Unlike much of MeFi's response, PETA is seeking to censor and prosecute.

Stile has managed to finally offend the world Now, I like odd things, but this was the last straw. For those who haven't seem it, it is an mpeg of a man cutting the head off of a live kitten and then eating it. The best part of this link ( I couldn't watch the vid all the way through ), are the e-mail responses. Anyway, we all seem openminded here, was he in the wrong to post the vid? What happened to stileproject? (warning: not for the sensitive types) One of the weirdest sites I've seen (aside from the raunchy porn, that is; he was how I found the kung-fu stick men) now seems to be gone. What gives?
