Hour 25 Online is a science fiction radio station that's been broadcasting since 1972. They're available online now and have a very nice archive of interviews with science fiction authors and other luminaries.

*Windows Media Format. I've tried the stream on both Mac and Windows. The stream provider asks for email, age, gender, and zip code and plays 2 minutes of commercials at the beginning of the stream, but that's a small price for 150 hours of music.

FullAudio and ClearChannel Radio form alliance to bring subscription music services to consumers. Another lame attempt to understand music consumers.The truth is buried in a faq section. Can I listen to tracks on my MP3 player? No. Can I convert my tracks to MP3 format? No. What's the point of this service?

Internet audio for providing the background noise for your web surfing. Radio Paradise offers up peacenik rock and international music. Support American cornfed Middle Eastern music by listening to Salaam (more Middle East artists from mp3.com.) Or just get your fill of 70s, 80s, or 90s pop rock. Any other good music out there for surfing with your ears?

There was one streaming radio site that I loved, but it's fallen on hard times. I return to Shoutcast again and again, but I can't seem to find anything interesting. What streams do you listen to during your long work days?

Tired of listening to the same old stuff? Try visiting WFMU's archives. Hours and hours of archived radio programs in streaming audio.

My personal favorites so far : The Secret Museum of the Air, The Antique Phonograph Music Program, and The Radio Thrift Shop. Really worth checking out!
