"Two lifelong friends, always together, everything in common. Except one, political stance. Neither of them could find a decent shirt to wear out depicting their stance on the issues of the day. They searched everywhere. Finally they were fed up. If they couldn’t find it they would make it themselves... So it’s come down to this:
liberalhipster.com v.
conservativehipster.com."

Pixeltees - use a (shockwave) editor to produce t-shirt designs. The low resolution, restricted palette and video-game connotations give interesting restrictions - a lot of designs are terrible, but
some are
pretty neat.

Anti-Bush T-shirt banned at Michigan school
"DEARBORN, Michigan (AP) -- School officials ordered a 16-year-old student to either take off a T-shirt emblazoned with the words "International Terrorist" and a picture of President Bush and or go home, saying they worried it would inflame passions at the school where a majority of students are Arab-American. "
That amazes me. Heard the same thing with a canadian teenager wearing
this Tshirt of his favorite rock star, Matthew Good.
"Freedom of fashion?"...

Virginia is for Snipers. The owner of a Richmond, Virginia vintage clothing store has created T-Shirts with large red targets on the back and a play on the "Virginia is for Lovers" tourism slogan on the front. The clothing store owner has displayed a track record of being a little
off kilter...

Easly High, home of the Scarlet Letters. Students violating the dress code of the South Carolina high school will now be forced to change into t-shirts bearing the phrases
"Dress for Success" on the front and
"Today I did not meet the dress code policy for proper attire" on the back. Boy, it's a good thing they're putting them on teenagers, because they would never think of creative ways to violate this idea in... what, about thirty seconds? Discuss your ideas for the new fashion trend: custom punishment signs!

Enraged about Enron? Buy the T-shirt The latest Enron related meme in Houston is a slew of anti-Enron shirts. Just today at lunch I picked up the coolest one to date, the Enrage shirt, for $10 with a $2 donation to the ex-Enron employees fund. Other Enron shirts can be found
here.

Show your openmindedness! In our extended discussion of the war, the (un)fairness of war, etc., it's been incredible how many MetaFilter regulars have changed their mind or reconsidered their opinions! (wink, wink) Here's something for those former pacifists. Now we need to find something for all those former hawks. [via
