SAG-AFTRA, an actors’ union, represents a number of voice actors in video games. And on October 21st, they went on strike against video game employers: Activision, Take 2, Electronic Arts, WB Games, and several talent agencies, including Blindlight, Disney, and VoiceWorks. We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story, the first Thanksgiving dino film

Pixar's new film, The Good Dinosaur, is the second animated dinosaur film to come out in time for Thanksgiving. The previous one came out 22 years ago, with executive producer credits for Steven Spielberg and a whole host of stars lending their voices to the film, telling the story of dinosaurs coming to New York City. Behind The Voice Actors is an IMDB-like resource for looking up voice actors. Though it has articles, features, and trailers, it also provides fascinating time-sucks, as you can compare every actor who's played a character (for example: X-Men's Gambit or Batman's Joker) or every character an actor played ("Oh, hey! the same dude played Captain N and Ed from Ed Edd & Eddy!"). Simpson stars strike for more 'D'oh!' The voices of the Simpsons are on strike for $360,000 an episode. Seems almost reasonable for such a pop culture phenomenon, but the voiceover work equates to one work day per episode.
