Said to be the busiest actor in Hollywood -- ever, Don LaFontaine was this generation's most prolific announcer, in the traditional sense of the word, lending his voice to all the major American television networks, and redefining the movie trailer. LaFontaine has died of complications from a collapsed lung at 68. A typical Fox promo featuring his distinctive voiceover. The New Voice of MSNBC: Twisted Sister's Dee Snider He's the new voiceover guy at MSNBC.I knew I recognized that voice, I just couldn't place it. It sort of makes you wonder who other networks might get to do voiceovers.

Last week, the woman that does almost every female voice on Southpark committed suicide. It's a terrible loss, she did voiceover work for so many movies and shows. What's really spooky about it is listening to her being interviewed earlier this year. She even talks about animated characters living long after you're dead.
