What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

Originally, I chose my name by carefully reading the first thing that came into my field of view, in this case a dilbert cartoon upon my desk. Being a newbie, I thought the name quite appropriate.
Later I found out that asoka is the name of a great leader, and denouncer of violence. so I may have at least one thing in common with my namesake.
